Thank you, Alan, I think it’s a great article. You might be interested to know that Peter Rath, who is a Lobmeyr, told me 10 years ago that Max was the best engraver they had when he worked for them, and also the fastest. They learned that they couldn’t price their engraved glass by timing how long it took Max to finish one; they had to use one of the other engravers. And he was just starting out then!
