Gerry Eggert of Rochester, New York adds some finer points to the historical development of the Carder Steuben Club.

Hi Alan,

You might also point out that the new Carder Steuben Club is a 501-C-3 Not-for Profit Corporation and can accept donations and issue letters for the IRS. This gives us more independence than the “Friends Of Carder’ ever had.

We also secured a mutually beneficial relationship with CMOG, where the Carder Collection is housed. We now get a 1st Class venue for our Annual Meeting @ CMOG., in addition to the considerable staff and institutional resources of the CMOG. David Whitehouse and his entire staff are very supportive of the Carder Steuben Club.
