The James Bond movie Moonraker, with Roger Moore, includes several scenes relating to glass at the “Venini Glass” showroom and factory. One object pictured is a copy of an object shown at The Corning Museum of Glass. During a fighting scene, much glass, including a large glass wall clock is broken.

Identifying Glass Described in Movies by Jack Hartwein-Sanchez

Hello Jack et al that enjoy the Turner Classic Movies,

Sabrina, 1955: In the early part of the movie, Audrey Hepburn is sitting at her writing table in Paris, there is a Tiffany lamp with prisms lighting her work.

The shade is either a Tiffany Studios IVY VINE or a Bigalow & Kennard of the same model type. The prisms on the supporting ring is unknown as is the pottery/ceramic lamp base.

The Apartment, 1960: Jack Lemmon’s apartment has three leaded glass lamps. Even though it is a black and white film I can tell two are Tiffany lamps, one being a daffodil lamp. I’m not certain who made the third one.

The second Tiffany lamp is the SPIDER shade on the Inverted Mushroom Base. The third lamp by the sofa is a banded floral shade of unknown name by the Unique lamp and Glass Co. of Brooklyn
