Moonlight

The first impression which might strike you upon seeing a highly prized piece of this elusive crystal for the very first time would be that something was wrong with it. It would be hard to be specific at first, but the more you handle it the more you would convinced it was not like a normal crystal item. You would be right. Moonlight is not clear crystal—it is colored crystal.

It is absolutely baffling to handle what appears to be clear crystal and then slowly come to realize it is the most subtle of colored crystal that can be imagined. It is really only when Moonlight is brought into close proximity of colorless crystal that what you are looking at begins to take form.

Moonlight appears to have an almost imperceptible tinge–a whisper–of grey when viewed from several feet away. Upon close scrutiny in strong, natural light come to realize quite quickly that there is no grey as you had first thought, but that it has a more vivid hue.
