Al Bradtke of Cayuga, New York points out a largely Carder Steuben museum in St. Louis. Why don’t we hear more about it?
Hi Alan –
The collection at St. Louis University is located in the Cupples House. They have a website but there are no photos of their collection online. The collection is mostly Steuben, but they have glass by other makers as well. It is known as the Turshin Collection and was donated to the museum by Eleanor Turshin. Al

I would have expected more of you would have pointed out other museums that house Carder Steuben Glass. I know there are more out there.
Lisa Ackerman after reading about the vast Carder Steuben collection at the Wichita Art Museum says: “Maybe there should be a club ‘field trip’! 🙂 Lisa”
After viewing the pages of glass at the Wichita Art Museum, relatively new Club member, Kathy Hopkins of Red Bank, New Jersey observes: “Thank you for this info. WOW! I didn’t know that they made the olive bowl in blue. Kathy”
