Juicing Attendance

from David Schultz of New Vernon, NJ

“The Morris Museum has had a twenty percent increase in attendance because of the glass exhibit. They have scheduled a one man exhibit by Lino in 2017.”

from Wikipedia–Lino Tagliapietra (born 1934) is a Venetian glass artist who has also worked extensively in the United States. As a teacher and mentor, he has played a key role in the international exchange of glassblowing processes and techniques between the principal American centers and his native Murano, “but his influence is also apparent in China, Japan, and Australia-and filters far beyond any political or geographic boundaries.

Question on the Timeline

“Question: Is the building that housed Steuben’s first retail store (1934 in the timeline) still standing, and if so, what is it today? Does the building feature any Steuben architectural glass in its design (e.g., windows, doors, panels), or were those only produced during the Carder era?
