Labels (comments on removing labels from glass)

Any number of suggestions. Probably the best is supplied by Susan & Willson Craigie of Richmond, Virginia

We always prefer alcohol, specially Pinot.

If that doesn’t work, then Marshall Ketchum of Genoa, New York suggests

I just use nail polish remover which is usually mostly acetone. It has always worked and the type of glass shouldn’t make any difference.

Grady Hite of Winston-Salem, New York has a unique solution

peanut butter left over night on the glue will remove without harm, fingernail polish is also good.

Beth Shaut of the Carder Steuben Shop in Corning has yet another take

I use non-acetone nail polish remover and have found that Stoner’s Invisible Glass cleaner also work. You spray on and the foam releases the residue from the surface.
