Colorless Carder
Carder is color. That’s the mantra that drives Carder Steuben collectors. But Steuben Glass Works was founded specifically to produce colorless blanks and it continued to do so during its entire history.
ÿLongtime member and past-President Scott Hansen will present a sample of exclusively colorless Carder pieces from his collection and discuss design, pattern and acquisition history as well as offer other personal commentary.
Be sure not to miss this intriguing presentation at the Carder Steuben Symposium , October 11 , 13, 2018.

Another Casting of The Same Plaque?
Joshua Cohn asks, are you sure this is two castings of the same plaque? The faces, hair and scarf near the mid sections look like they have different detail
Joshua, the headline perhaps isn’t correct. The plaque on the left is part of CMoG’s collection, but is not on display. The plaque on the right is in a private collection and is on display within the collection.
