Every year Peetie & Tom Dimitroff host a birthday party on Frederick Carder’s birthday, September 18 (Sunday) at the Corning Country Club. A great social hour—just so much “Carder talk”, followed by an elegant dinner, a birthday toast and then an after dinner superb speaker. This year it is Dr. Greg Merkel, a fellow at Corning labs speaking on color. A great lively well attended tradition, and this year it falls on the same weekend as the Carder Steuben Club Symposium in Corning.
