Another year has come and gone and a new year is upon us. Plans will soon be on the way for 2025; it’s hard to believe this year is ending so soon!

We had a very successful 2024 Symposium and Auction. We had two beautiful displays at the Eastern National Antique Show. This is to show the beauty of Carder Steuben glass as well as to provide education on the glass and our organization. We also prepared a presentation on Carder and his glass to the Vaseline Collectors Inc. convention. Their President, Bob Harry said “We had nothing but positive feedback regarding Jenny [Monroe]’s presentation!  She certainly held the group’s attention.  All of the beautiful examples in her PowerPoint presentation got a lot of gasps from the audience.  Seeing all of the colors and shapes was amazing!”  We now have another tool in our toolbox with a completed presentation our members can give to other interested parties.

Anyone who has been watching auctions this year has seen, and maybe procured, some very beautiful and rare pieces of Steuben. I hope we have many happy and successful bidders reading this today. We’ll hope that 2025 brings more eye candy!
