A couple of Sundays ago I went to an antique show in my town. A dealer had a grotesque calcite vase with iridescent on the out side. Polished Pontil. Totally opaque. I did not buy it as it was in poor condition and had never seen any Carder Steuben like this.

At night I got a email from Morphy’s auction house. Lot 1104 pictures a Steuben calcite fan vase that has iridescent. Two in one day. Much to my surprise. What information is available about this type of Steuben?
