Glass Exhibits

Jul 13, 2018
Issue 2994

The Summer issue of Gather, CMoG’s quarterly publication, focuses on 150 years of glassmaking in Corning.

Two articles of interest include one by Kelly Conway, Curator of American Glass, about the newly redesigned Crystal City Gallery and celebrating the Corning glassmakers.

The other is by Alexandra Ruggiero, Assistant Curator of Modern Glass, entitled Glass of the Architects: Vienna, 1900 – 1937, and describes a new exhibit of Austrian glass used in home interiors.

Tours of both of these exhibits will be included in the Carder Steuben Symposium schedule, October 11 – 13.

Symposium information will be available by early August.

Membership in the Carder Steuben Club (a bargain at $35 single; $55 couple) includes this publication (Gather), as well as free admission to the Corning Museum of Glass.
