In the last Gazette we asked the question of whether the lid and body of the vase were the same.
Susan Sauls, art collection registrar at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana, in turn asks
I wonder if the concentration of the color in a tubular form as formed on the lid is higher than when the glass is formed “flat” into the vase?
