Donation Values

from Charles Sweigart of Reinholds, PA

John Styler commented stating a jeweler could show the full retail value as a donation. To my knowledge, he would only be allowed to show his actual cost of the goods as the value of the donation. Perhaps a tax accountant will verify this information.

Live Streaming from CMoG

For those of you who belong to the Carder Steuben Club you probably received the e-mail from CMoG on their live streaming of weekly glass demonstrations or later review on YouTube. You received the e-mail because when you belong to the Carder Steuben Club for $35, you also get a membership in the Corning Museum of Glass (CMoG). The next class is on July 8 for one hour at 11:00Eastern time.

Watch as William Gudenrath demonstrates for his class, An In-Depth Introduction to Venetian Techniques, which will provide students with a firm foundation in the basic movements of Venetian-style glassblowing.

No registration or fee is required to watch this portion of the class. Check back on July 8 to watch.

Unable to watch the live stream? Each demonstration will be added to our YouTube channel. See the full listing of past live-streamed demonstrations, and check back for new videos soon.
