Member Gordon Hancock’s Tiffany Pastels

The article appeared in the weekly Design section of the New York Times today. A photograph of the glass covers the entire front page of the section. Just beautiful, and the resolution of the on-line photos are way better than the paper. Scott Hansen

Gordon Hancock’s Comments

As you know I am a member of the Carder Steuben club and regularly attend the annual symposium. Although I collect Tiffany Pastels I appreciate the beautiful glass Carder made and I have a few pieces in my collection, mostly pieces I have bought at the annual symposium dinner auction, which I find to be great fun.
It’s also fun to be among fellow glass collectors and of course the Corning Museum and the Rakow research Library are icing on the cake!.

The New York Times has written an article on me and my collection, I think my fellow glass collectors and Steuben heads as I like to call them will find the article interesting. The article promotes glass collecting to the general public, something sorely needed.

Best regards to all.
