Yesterday, we saw a pair of shades sent to us by Katherine Herdell. She thought they may be Steuben, but didn’t know.
Two responses. First, from David Donaldson of Orlando:
Hi Alan,
Without having them to hold in my hand, but looking closely at the thickness of the crimped rim, I would put my money on Fostoria IRIS Glass.
Regards,
David P. Donaldson, MFA

Next, from Leigh Alan Demrow of Janesville, Wisconsin
Alan, AS I’ve said before, without hands on experience, we are only guessing as to the maker of this shade. This shape was made by all art glass makers as it was used as a candle lamp shade. The glass looks to me, to be thick, so my GUESS is Fostoria, shape #328 in Roberts book. I have included a photo of a Tiffany shade from my inventory of the same shape. L.A.D.
