FOR SALE

Sep 21, 2009
Issue 686

As noted in an earlier Gazette, Lon Knickerbocker will be selling Carder Steuben glass from his hotel room at the Comfort Inn beginning at 1 o’clock on Thursday of the Symposium, Oct. 1. I believe he also will be available some other times when the Symposium is out of session. e.g. Friday after the Symposium ends for the day. You can check with Lon at the Symposium for times other than Thursday. Lon has sent along some pictures of some typical glass for sale. Not necessarily the top or the bottom, price wise of what he’ll bring. See the following link.

Also, Lon will provide an exhibit of some whimseys he collects. Lon is honoring the Symposium by not selling these items before 1 o’clock Thursday; selling only to those present and not while the Symposium is ongoing. If anyone else would like to sell similarwise and let us know, we’ll be happy to publicize it. Also, besides the Club’s auction Saturday night two venues that will have Steuben are 94 West, at 94 Market Street and The Carder Steuben Shop on Market Street in Corning.
