Early’s followup

Tommy Dreiling of Brooklyn adds the following on Early’s last auction a weekend ago.
Early Auction has posted the results from their auction last week. Although a few pieces did well I continue to be shocked by how low some very nice pieces went for. Lot # 600 was a large Rosaline to Alabaster ACB and it only made $1,200.00 a few years ago if I saw this piece at a show or a dealers shop I don’t think it would be under $3,500.00. Lot # 469 was also a Rosaline to Alabaster ACB, a mini ginger jar WITH lid and it went for $900.00 For a long time Rosaline was a super popular color and was always bringing top dollar. I’m kicking myself now for not putting in more absentee bids! As has been said, it’s really a buyers market right now.
