I was on a tour of a house in Wheaton Illinois , the house is about 90 Years old , there was many additions onto the house , one was film viewing room . The room was built in a deco style , the molding around the doors was a clear glass with lighting behind it , I was sure it was made by Steuben . There also was clear acid cutmstte finish inserts in the doors, once again I thought Steuben , than later in the tour I saw return air vents made with the gazelle often seen in yellow and blue and used on ships ! I was caught by surprise .I did not expect to see Steuben glass ! I was about to snap some pics but the rules said ,
No pics ! It made the tour worth every minute . Anyone in Illinois that knows or loves Steuben should go !!
