We see all sorts of colors of the 1455 cologne but we don’t often find a 1455 puff box. Here is one in Wisteria which is a dichroic color that can be either a light blue or a light violet depending upon the light source. This puff box is 4 inches in diameter.

CANDLESTICKS

I thought I would share in case you need any additional “blurbs” for the gazette.

I had recently purchased a pair of 10 in Carder candle sticks via online auction and to my dismay the funds were suddenly refunded with the following message…

“Hello, Sadly the candlesticks are now both completely in pieces. My cat found herself on the shelf and knocked them and many other things off. I am sorry and i have issued you a full refund. Best Regards”

Another piece gone forever 🙁

2013 Carder Steuben Club annual Symposium will be held at The Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY from September 19-21, 2013. The festivities will begin with Frederick Carder’s 150th birthday celebration on the evening of September 18, 2013.
