Dale Rice wrote to show appreciation for the Gazette. First off, Rod Aftuck of Atlanta discovered an old friend.
I saw Dale Rice’s post on the message board. Dale was my Boy Scout Camp Counselor at Camp Gordon back in the 70’s. He was from Addison, NY and went to college at Syracuse. Wow!
Then Willson Craigie of Richmond, Virginia salutes Dale Rice, the Texan.
Hey Dale – I’m a Horned Frog. !!!!! Love Texas. Can’t imagine any TCU co-ed moving around campus wearing a Crystal glass shoe made by Steuben or anybody else. Willson
Next, Suzanne Sanders of the Rosewood Inn of Corning, New York shares appreciation of the Gazette with Dale.
We love hearing the message from Dale Rice.
Finally, John Styler of Prospect Heights, Illinois responds to J. Goldstein’s observation about a Steuben cat given to the Pope.
Very interesting observation by J. Goldstein, if it was a cat, the only animal not mentioned in the Bible, it had to be the one called “Blessing” in the Steuben shop.
As an aside J. my sister lives in Mokena and “a suburb of Chicago” it isn’t really, when I drive there form Prospect Heights which isn’t a suburb either.
