Well, just over 3 weeks until the annual Carder Steuben Club Symposium. Always a fun and exciting time. If you’ve not yet signed up, now is the time to do so and make your room reservations. See attached application form. For those who can’t make it, now is the time to sign up for your year’s membership. This also gets you a year’s membership in CMoG.
If you’ve never been to Corning you are in for quite a treat. Just a story book town located in the Finger Lakes region of western New York State. Great food, great shopping, the world’s leading glass museum, charming friendly people and an idyllic setting. And thousands of examples of Carder’s creations on display. On display at the Radisson Hotel, Hillcrest Manor Bed & Breakfast (where we will have Thursday night’s opening reception of Pizza, Wine, desserts & fellowship)Rockwell Museum of Western Art, Market Street display by CMoG and the Corning Museum of Glass (“CMoG”). Then at CMoG it can be found in several different galleries, including The Carder Steuben Gallery, where we’ll have Friday night wine & dessert reception and enjoy leisure browsing the several thousand piece collection. It just doesn’t get any better. And by sharing, learn, learn, learn.
