A Gift Upon the Beach

Since the time that Eric Hilton graduated many years ago from Edinburgh College of Art, taught at several art colleges and universities, and retired from his 20-year association with Steuben Glass as a designer, he has found that glass has and is a core material of choice to explore and resolve ideas. Eric views the natural world as presenting us with challenging gifts to stimulate our senses. Each tide leaves a gift upon the beach. It is like the dome of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London – sounds echo in waves within its interior.
