A Peek Behind the Curtain

This Symposium presentation was addressed by Warren Bunn, Collections and Exhibitions Manager at CMoG. It looks at what goes in to caring for and presenting the museum’s collections.

Beth Shaut of Corning provided this review:

“In our last Friday afternoon presentation, ‘A Peek Behind the Curtain: Collection Management at CMOG’ Warren Bunn really showed the intricate work behind taking care of storing installing and preserving of collections. I was amazed that everything in the warehouse was on the open shelves. He explained how the complete control of temps humidity and vacuum air system kept everything safe and dust free. To bad we couldn’t do that at home.”
