Symposium Auction

For the attendees at this year’s symposium, we have a truly generous and unique opportunity in one of the lots being offered this year at the closing night dinner auction.

Long time Gazette Gazelle subscriber and contributor Helaine Fendelman, who is the current Secretary on the board of Directors for the National Arts Club in New York City, has made a most generous offer to the Club. Helaine has offered to host a tour of the National Arts Club, along with cocktails to the winning bidder(s) at the auction. Helaine, along with the registrar of art collection, Robert Yahner, will offer their joint expertise to take the winning bidder or bidders, (for one or two persons) on a fabulous tour of this historic building and it’s collection of outstanding art.

This is a once in a lifetime chance for Carder Steuben Club members who have a passion for art, architecture, and history to take part in this rare opportunity. The winner will have to set up their preference as to when they take the tour with Helaine, and the tour will have to take place prior to the end of May 2017, and be advised that the only day of conflict during the week would be Saturday, as the club is not open.

All proceeds from the high bidder will go to the Carder Steuben Club as Helaine has been so generous to make this offer as a donation into the auction. For more information regarding the National Arts Club, you can see photos and read about its most interesting history at the Club’s website @ www.nationalartsclub.org
