I don’t think any subject on the Gazette has driven more responses and interest than how to clean mineral deposits from a piece of glass.
Today, we have two more comments. First from Katly Stein of Potomac, Maryland on using a cleaner along with a bottle brush to finish the job.
A bottle brush on iridescent glass is lethal.

The method that I’ve used with reasonable results is Polident or any other similar product designed for cleaning dentures.
This was easier when these came as powders rather than tablets because it was simpler to get a powder through the neck of a perfume or decanter.
