The 2009 volume of the Journal of Glass Studies contains the final installment of a three-part series (published between 2007 and 2009) on the Smithsonian Institution and American glass manufacturers, written by Susan H. Myers, a former curator at the Smithsonian. This third article focuses on the period 1917-1929, during which time the Smithsonian received gifts from T. G. Hawkes and Steuben Glass Works. The 2009 volume of the Journal is in-house and available for purchase. Unfortunately, there is no index of subject headings for articles published in the Journal
