The Three Graces

Good Morning,

The blue and white cameo carved Vase was designed and executed by Max Roland Erlacher, and was entitled “The Three Graces. Max tells me that his inspiration for this design was Roman dancing girls . The blank that Max used was made by our dear friend, Charles Lotton. It was made purposely for Max to carve for a Special Exhibit of Cameo Glass from Antiquity up to present times. This was the featured exhibit sometime in the 1980’s from October to May of that year. Max and Barry Sautner were the only two living engravers who were invited to participate. Debbie and David Schultz recently added this fine example of Cameo Glass to their rare and ever growing collection for which we are grateful for their continuing patronage.

Max continues to work every day in his Studio, out in the country, and we welcome any and all inquiries from all of the fine members of the CARDER STEUBEN CLUB.

Sincerely,

Kitty Erlacher
