The Verdict Is?

from Dave Kingsley & Duane Moulton of Loxahatchee, FL

Hi Alan,

We recently purchased this plate and we are uncertain about a couple of things. We believe this to be a no. 2949 in an iridized Light Blue Jade. However, at 11-3/4″ in diameter, it is not a listed size, (ed. the line drawings show 10″, 13″ & 16″ sizes) and this plate has rays where the example in the shape library is smooth with another décor. We understand that the use different décors on a shape is not unusual, but the presence of the rays does perplex us some. The plate is marked with the Fleur de lis acid etch. We were hoping that the community might offer some insight on this piece.

Best Regards,

Dave Kingsley

Duane Moulton
