Alan –
Twenty five years ago The Rockwell Museum presented an exhibition from August 1993 to January 1994 entitled Brilliance In Glass – The Lost Wax Glass Sculpture of Frederick Carder. An exhibition catalog with the same title was produced. Forty-four lost wax sculptures (cire perdue) were presented along with seven examples of Carder’s Diatreta work.
A number of the pieces you have been showing in the Gazette were included in that exhibition. Unfortunately, only a small portion of the exhibition pieces were pictured in the catalog.
