In the March April 2021 issue of “The Magazine Antiques”, there is an article titled ‘A Teenager Talks about Art Appreciation’ written by Caroline Summerfield Kirtley. Her mother is a curator at the Philadelphia Museum of Art who was, as she states, dragged to museums, art shows, private art collections and historic houses with her family’. This is an article worth reading as the group discusses how to garner interest in what each of your members love! I would suggest that you do more than just ‘vent’ on the website but set up a program how to increase your profile, interest and collecting love!

Speaking just to your Carder Steuben group will not work. You have to wisen your audience to the art and antiques websites and print publications, Instagram and other trendy sites for the younger generation.
