AOL and Others

Periodically we get notice of “unsubscribes” from our hosting service, Constant Contact (“CC”). They are fastidious in removing e-mail addresses if requested to do so or they recognize the recipient has put us into spam.
Periodically, we get an unsubscribe notice. Lately, we’ve had quite a few. When we ask why we often find out that you haven’t requested to be “unsubscribed”. Most of these occur on AOL. We think the reason is their “spam” button is next to the “delete” button. So, if you want to receive the Gazette be careful not to hit the “spam” button. Once you do that CC pulls you out of the mailing list and it is quite hard to get you put back on under their system. If you find that all of the sudden you’re not getting the Gazette e-mail me at ashovers@kddk.com and let me know so we can take action to get you back on the mailing list.
