Membership Renewal

Thank you to everyone who has renewed their membership in the Club for 2015. The quick response is greatly appreciated. However, there are some procrastinators among you. If you are in that group, please renew your membership by clicking on the Membership Tab on the left hand side of the website (www.cardersteubenclub.org) and following the instructions there. You can also renew by using the invoice mailed to all members last November. We would like to finish this process as soon as possible so we can get CMoG membership cards issued to all members for 2015.

“Poor Man’s Intarsia”

from Scott Hansen of Stamford, CT

So long as you are collecting references to Intarsia for the Gazette, don’t forget goblet Shape 6976, sometimes colloquially referred to as “poor man’s Intarsia.” You can see it in Dimitroff, Figure 2.42 or on the Club website:

Color Me Antique Green

from Rande Bly of Birmingham, AL

The 2956 Optic Rib Candlestick should be Antique Green even though it’s cast is blue. Care must be taken to not confuse it with Sea Green. The color was previously known as blue gray.
