AND YET, ANOTHER OPINION

Burton Arnett of Pendleton, South Carolina sends this in.
I have bought and sold Steuben (and other makers) for several years and I can assure anyone that MOST new collectors( and some older ones) will pay more for a signed piece of glass. (I’ve tested it)…Recently I put a piece of Daum on Ebay and didn’t say whether or not it was signed; I must have gotten half a dozen emails the first day of listing, wanting to know if the piece was SIGNED…then all of them wanted me to show the SIGNATURE, and folks, this isn’t an isolated case….when I was working antique shows, everyone who looked at a piece of art glass, IMMEDIATELY turned the piece and looked for a signature……..
