Any Ideas?

John Styler of Prospect Heights, IL asks for help.

For the last several years I have taken a fancy to these very small cigarette urns. As you may remember there was a very different one at the symposium auction. It had a red body with clear handles and base, It was admired by just about everyone there; I lost out on the bidding much to my displeasure today, I should thought of the Club profiting.

I heard that Bobby Rockwell has one in a shade of green. Recently I found one on eBay and thought the dimensions listed were a little generous being 3″ high by 2 3/4″ wide while mine are 2 9/16″ high by 2 5/8″ wide and in the Madigan book #7734 but the slightly larger one is not listed.

Sure enough the sellers dimension were correct. I am curious to know the period these were made and if anyone have any ideas.
