It’s Amazing How the Digital Age is Impacting Us
The staff of the Rakow Library at The Corning Museum of Glass looks forward to the Carder Steuben Symposium.
This year, we have extended hours: we are open 9-5, 7 days a week, with a reference librarian on duty every day.
You are welcome to drop in at any time, but if you have specific questions and research interests, we encourage
You to contact us prior to your arrival, to allow us sufficient time to gather material.
We can be contacted in several ways:
Email rakow@cmog.org;
On the library page of the museum’s website: Ask-a-Librarian
Telephone: 607-438-5300
Our online catalog continues to be a good source for Carder Steuben materials, and we are continually adding new items:
Both printed and original materials, such as drawings. When we digitize items, we can add the digiital materials to the catalog.
One such item of interest is:

The 100th anniversary of the product. Of course, Carder created some designs for teapots, which are in the Carder archives!
