An apology

Rande Bly of Birmingham, Alabama sends this apology about the information on Celadon.

I do apologize for the over site and did preface the statement as far as I know. I was just ready to send the information I have found another reference to it myself. It is also in Gardner’s color list page 60 but not under the greens. Also it can be found in Gardner’s shapes listings as I stated in the article.

I think the point I was trying to make was even though the word Celadon was referenced as a color there was no information to go along with the word Celadon. Just simply listing the word Celadon with no accompanying information still left us clueless The shape index even went so far as to call it Celadon Glass which made us wonder for a while if it was a glass type or a color name. No one ever showed a picture of what it was or even a hint what color shade it was or spoke of it with any details. There was no information it was even green.

Thank you Keith Trippi it is important we keep this information as perfectly accurate as possible.

Another correction we may consider is I called it Celadon Green. It is referred to so far simply as Celadon in our records and likewise in Carders notebook. Sometimes the color shade is included in the name like Pomona Green and Celeste Blue but some other colors do not like Wisteria.

I think it a good idea to properly refer to this color in the future simply as Celadon because I have never seen Green next to this color name. All I have seen is just Celadon. Thanks Marshall for insight on that matter.
