Alan – There is a psychology to gaining interest in a particular area of the arts. A strategical pr plan needs to be organized. This would include articles, catalogues, an exhibition at galleries, online and in museums nation wide. Lectures at museums, women’s clubs and other public venues are very good places to include also. Carder has to be made important again. Just snagging a young person won’t be sufficient. Collector stories and finds have to be intriguing. Been there. Done this. Helaine Fendelman

Have you thought of doing a public relations campaign to promote Carder?

There are interesting stories and much that remains unknown. Fertile ground for some magazine, online and general media distribution. Because so little is written about Carder in the popular culture knowing about his glass would be new. Need to find a young collector/curator who can run with it.
