What’s ACGA you ask? That stands for the American Cut Glass Association. Yes, and right now they are in the middle of their annual meeting. This year it is held in San Diego. I’m here having great fun and enjoying some great weather. I never quite thought about it, but there is a respectable amount of Mr. Carder’s glass available for sale. After all, Mr. Carder did some considerable amount of cut and engraved glass. The cut glass collectors collect Mr. Carder’s glass. Almost like another category. Just another venue; not much considered by the typical Carder collector. The ACGA is now also holding a meeting and sale every spring in Corning in conjunction with CMoG. Just one more opportunity to acquire some of Mr. Carder’s best work.
