Issue 2689

Good morning from Helaine Fendelman

Thank you for the attention, I just want to present in a few word the business of my activity.

I have company that realize both chandeliers and spare parts in original Murano glass, broken or damaged, even of different production companies from us.

With me you will able to find all the spare parts that once seemed impossible to find there, by leading brands such as Venini, Barovier and Toso, Carlo Scarpa etc to the less main interesting, of any age and type, like leaves, arms, scroll, tears, pendants, bobechè, cup , that accidentally are broken and at the end you will have a piece exactly the same as your original sample.

I work directly with my trusted suppliers, that work directly in Island of Murano ( Venice ), all of our products are homemade, made one by one with extreme precision and patience.

The adopted processes are the Filigrana, the Rigadin, the Balloton, the Ritorto and colors like white milk, black, red, opal, white silk, amethyst, amber, smoky and any other color on request.

This is my website, where you can see some of my products:

An Answer to the Request for Identification Help

This purchase has me scratching my head. Here are the positives: Color matches another Blue Aurene. Base has the correct angle. Pontil mark on the bottom is correct. Question mark is the size. 8 3/8″. It sits ½” high base width is 5 ¼”. Now the minuses. Pontil on top is not the typical rounded over center. It is fluted. Can you solve the mystery? Brad Withers

Brad Withers,

Your plate is Steuben 2028 and the optic ribbed pattern goes all the way into the pontil area. It has a pattern that is distinctly Steuben
