Dear Alan,

I am writing to to let all know of a great lost to the antique market and especially Steuben. On Friday Ben Ackerman passed on. Many may know him through Antique shows all over the country. He and his wife Ethel did the Corning Antique Show for a great many years as well as shows as Ohare, etc. He truly will be missed by all of us who knew him. He imparted his knowledge on to all with his passion of the love for all that was made.
