It’s nice to hear from June Riccio of Alamo, California. June just attended the biggest west coast antique show, Hillsborough in the San Jose area. June reports
Just came from the Hillsborough Show in San Mateo,CA and it was a big disappointment! For starters, only the second building was in use, which literally cut the show to one half its’ original size. Secondly, most of the dealers were in silver, jewelry, art, and oriental items. Don’t think there were ten dealers with more than three Steuben items – in fact, almost no art glass at all in the show. In addition, parking and entrance fees went up again, which I’m sure was discouraging to many.

Doubt if April show will be any better as it looks now.
