Issue 3738
Our Webmaster Scott Coots is continually adding new images to the Shape Gallery section of the CSGA website. This is one of the most frequently used parts of the website, and the majority of photos come from our users. If you have a Steuben piece and it’s not already pictured in the Shape Gallery, please consider submitting it to help expand the database. Email a clear photo and some details about the piece (e.g., shape number, dimensions, glass type) to webmaster@steubenglass.org. We appreciate everyone’s submissions and keep those photos coming!
Here are some of the most recent additions…
Steuben plates. Ah, the trials and tribulations of being a collector! I won a Silverina #2028 plate, then it was lost by a certain shipping company. It was my unicorn find – can you help me replace it? (A similar example is shown below.) I’m also interested in any unusual plates, colors, designs, etc. Size 8 1/2 inches would be preferred, but any size would interest me. Thank you! Brad Withers bradwithers@msn.com
Tall Gold Aurene Shades. In search of three Gold Aurene trumpet shades. Dimensions — Fitter: 2 1/4″, Bottom diameter: 6 1/8″ (6″ is good), Height: 6 3/4″. These are a typical shape but the height is taller than most commonly found shades. Steuben would be ideal, but Quezal shades might also work if the color is a good match for what I have. Will buy one, two, or three plus will pay all shipping costs. Please contact Mark Bradish at mbradish@new.rr.com. Thank you!
