Issue 3653
If you are pouring your coffee this morning and wondering what you might do to fill your glass craving for the day, this invitation is for you.
The Westchester Glass Club has kindly extended an invitation to attend their monthly club Zoom meeting. The guest this month is “our own” Tom Dimitroff! The event is today (Tuesday, Sept. 27) starting at 11:00am EDT. Details are below.
Please feel free to join and enjoy hearing from one of our premier Steuben Glass experts.
Greetings glass lovers!
You are cordially invited to attend a discussion with Thomas Dimitroff, author of Frederick Carder and Steuben Glass: American Classics, and The Houghtons of Corning, New York: Five Generations of Brilliance. I videoed Thomas in his dining room, which was filled with Carder Steuben glass (and chandelier!). He is perhaps best known for his History of Corning-Painted Post. He taught in Corning for 35 years, and was elected to the Steuben County Hall of Fame and was presented the Jefferson Award.
This will be a Zoom meeting; the link is below.
Looking forward to seeing you, and please show us your summer glass finds after the program!
