Issue 3470
I want you to know how much I appreciate showing museum collections, whether on display or not.
I thank you for taking the time to give us three pictures to absorb when you do this. I so appreciate when you go to a museum and scout out what has been donated.
In all probability most of those pieces will never be seen by the public again. You showing the picture gives the piece life again. It makes me think of the artist who made the piece AND the owner who donated the piece to the museum. Carder’s treasure made, then owned and then given.
The crystal candlestick is beautiful, gorgeous. The design lines are such a teaching tool to know the Carder mould.
Thank you! Anonymous
I love looking at a few pictures each day.
The lamp shade that was in Monday’s email-my thought was Carder did this–
I know Quezal and Tiffany did them.
I wonder what the differences and similarities are. Anonymous
