Take Aways From Zoom Meeting
It was great to see the Carder Steuben Glass Club members Zooming in on Tom Felt’s talk on the Steuben Collection at the Museum of American glass in West Virginia, in the Westchester Glass Club Zoom today!
I think the The Carder Steuben club should begin zooming because we are all fascinated about the artistry and living history of glass, and there is so much to learn and appreciate.
You could line up some wonderful speakers and zoom with a Pro-Zoom account…. it’s only $14/month, and can be used for up to 100 participants ( you can expand this later) for unlimited time,
To date, The Cape Cod Glass Club, the Founders Club, the North Jersey Depression Glass Club and of course the Westchester Glass Club are all Zooming their monthly meetings. Attendance has increased as more members become familiar with the technology.
Together, we will be inviting all of NAGC glass clubs and members to watch and enjoy and learn more about glass. Learning about glass is a lifelong process!
And to bring in new members is an absolute must if we are to continue for future generations!
Best,
James Russell
President,

Hi Jim,
I wanted to thank you for inviting the Carder Steuben Club members to the Zoom call earlier this week.
I saw a handful of members on the call, so thank you for that.
And Tom Felt was full of information of course – what a lovely museum he has there – chocked full of wonderful glass.
And the Massman collection is right up front!
Thanks again for including us. You have given me inspiration to try a Zoom meeting with the Carder Steuben Club.
How hard can it be?
All the best,
Bonnie Salzman, President, Carder Steuben Club
