Alan:
I also have a pair of these candlesticks that match the color of the compote. My candlesticks also fluoresce vividly. They have polished pontil marks and bear no markings. I have been told by several people that they are of European origin but I have not been able to confirm it. If any one would like to take a close look at them I will have them at the Nazareth College show in Pittsford, NY this weekend.
