More On The French Mixing Bottle

The French Mixing Bottle shown in the Hammacher Schlemmer & Co ad in yesterday’s Gazette (and below) is shape 3062. The accompanying photograph (right) of a Verre de Soie bottle shown yesterday is shape 3063.
Another shape that is commonly seen is shape 3061. All three of these shapes can be found in colorless and VDS (and sometimes transparent colors) and are sometimes marked “Hawkes” as well as “Steuben”, and sometimes not marked at all.
