Since this photograph was color-identified by me, perhaps the topaz designation has now been re-classified as amber, making topaz a much more infrequent color than previously believed.
I think Rande’s observations on amber and topaz have been useful, though still to be accounted for are Russian amber, and pale amber (the only time the latter has been so denominated in a line drawing, to my knowledge, is in the table decoration #7039, but, alas, no actual photographic example on the website to validate the color).
