The bowl on the left is a colored cire perdue. Apparently the only example of this technique in a color, and signed ‘F. Carder 1959.’

The gold aurene vase is 2409, and is shown in a Gardner plate, XIIA, in a more oblate variant.

Under Gardner’s ‘Bowl – Centerpiece’ line drawings, the #2895 bowl, with white ring handles, ought to be on the website, but inexplicably was never listed, even though the line drawing at the number on the website says it is to be found in Flemish blue and with ring handles. Seems to me that ought to be sufficient verification.

Vase 6370, with ACB ducks, is missing the signature, which was ground off, leaving a flat spot. Perhaps someone wanted it to pass for a French cameo…?

My Bristol yellow vase appears on the website as #2364. However, it does not closely resemble the line drawing, and at 9 3/4th inches, is more probably a #6123. Reference at that number cites the Advertisement section, on the left of the website page, where three different photographs where Carder’s marketing people showed a similar shape to mine.
